Blockchain can be complicated to explain, but it is essentially a database that chains individual blocks of information together to create a nearly impenetrable system. It is used alongside cryptocurrencies to verify the authenticity of data, making it very difficult for hackers to infiltrate. Last but not least, we have embedded hardware authenticators. This technology is still emerging at the moment, but the idea is that all hardware in the future will be integrated with special chips that implement additional verification measures. PIN codes and passwords are becoming inadequate to protect devices, so embedded hardware authenticators are here to pick up the slack.
