Xiaomi Redmi K30 & K30 Pro Specification, Launch Details

Yes! You heard that right. The new Xiaomi Redmi K30 is launching soon, in fact, as soon as December 10th, 2019. Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 pro are doing very well in the Indian market, so we do not doubt that K30 will take the market by storm. The smartphone is getting a whole new look and design, which not only will be appealing to the eye but systematically efficient as well.

The new Redmi K30 is rumored to be the first smartphone to use a new image sensor technology. As usual, Xiaomi staying ahead of its competitors. It’s time to upgrade to a new phone, no doubt.  Let’s look at what the new K30 has to offer:

Performance & System

  • Runs on the Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system.
  • It is powered by Octa-core (2.96 GHz, Single core, Kryo 485 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 485 + 1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 485) processor.
  • Runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Chipset.
  • It has a 6 GB RAM

Design & Display

  • Xiaomi Redmi K30 will feature a dual punch-hole design. It is a pleasant change from other models because the motorized camera is a design compromise, and you cannot trust moving parts inside a smartphone as they have higher chances of malfunctioning.
  • The phone will also have slim bezels on the sides as well as the top. The resolution of the screen is 1080 x 2340 pixels with a pixel density of 390 PPI. It has an AMOLED display which comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass v5. The screen size will be 6.6 inches (16.76 cm)

It’s been rumoured the Redmi K30 will be using a new camera technology that will pack the “world’s first high-resolution image sensor.”

It has a Non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery. Fast battery charging at 27W.

  • The phone is going to suppose Dual 5G, making it compliant with both SA (Standalone) and NSA (Non-Standalone) modes for theoretically better connectivity.
  • the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE enabled networks

Storage

In terms of storage, the smartphone has 64GB of non-expandable memory. Although this is a lot of room, users cannot expand it further, which could be one of the only drawbacks of this phone.

Release Date and Price

But the date has been changed and now it’s releasing on December 10th, 2019. Customers are very excited eager for the launch, and preorders have already started. The Redmi K30 is expected to start at under Rs 30,000 for the non 5G variant in India.

Even though these are unofficial specifications, we are sure that this is what we can expect due to all the leaks and rumors. Although one might not call it a budget phone but it has to be one of the best phones one can get under 30,000. Other brands have to step up their game if they want to top this.
